Our 500 card club celebrated 30 years together by visiting Door County in October, 2005
On Friday, we rode our bikes from Berger Road to Sister Bay. Along the way we came upon this Halloween display.
Entering Bailey's Harbor.
"Orphan Annie's Schoolhouse Inn" in Bailey's Harbor. You CAN go back to school while on vacation!
Saturday we toured Penninsula State Park. Dan & Ed are looking over the anchor which is displayed by the Lighthouse in the park.
Marsha, Julie, and Sue by the wall separating the lighthouse from the bay.
Many of us climbed the fire tower in the park to get a better view. Mary Pat DID NOT!!!
Mary Pat must have taken this one (we're on the ground).
Now I've got the camcorder again and Mary Pat's taking photos.
Another view of the bay from along Harbor Drive.
Sue and Bob adding a little more color to the scene.
We're not as colorful but we do have BIG smiles!
You can't see them in this picture but there were people on the beach when I snapped this.
Ed and Sylvia ready to visit our next vista point.
I was jealous of Mary Pat after she let me taste her black cherry soda, it was delicous. I tried to talk her into trading for my root beer float but she declined.
The group at the other table had some delicous desserts also.
